This small, quiet beach on Aruba, is known for its excellent snorkelling. The clear, shallow waters of Boca Catalina make it easy to spot colourful fish, and sea turtles are sometimes seen near the reef. The rocky outcrops near the shore create a further natural habitat for marine life, while the soft sand between is comfortable on the feet.

Unlike some of Aruba’s larger beaches, Boca Catalina has a somewhat secluded feel, with only a few palapas providing shade. There are no large resorts or loud beach bars, giving it a relaxed atmosphere. It’s a popular stop for snorkelling tours, but outside of peak times, it is pretty quiet.

The beach is located on the island’s northwest coast, near Malmok Beach and the California Lighthouse. It’s easy to reach by car, with parking available nearby. Whether you’re looking to explore the underwater world or simply enjoy the calm surroundings, Boca Catalina is a great spot for a laid-back day on a Caribbean beach.
