Gaulding Cay Beach
Gaulding Cay Beach on Great Exuma is a quiet and picturesque spot known for its soft powder-white sand and shallow, crystal-clear water. Located towards the northern end of the island, around 3 miles from Gregory Town, this beach is ideal for swimming, snorkelling, and relaxing away from crowds. The name of the beach comes from the small offshore cay which provides some shelter, keeping the water calm and perfect for wading or spotting marine life.
Unlike some of the busier beaches in the Bahamas, Gaulding Cay Beach offers a peaceful atmosphere with little development nearby. Just across the road from the beach is Daddy Joe’s, a bar and restaurant.
Gaulding Cay Beach is a great place to enjoy the natural beauty of Exuma, whether you’re looking to take a swim, explore the shoreline, or simply unwind by the sea.
