Lawai Bay

This quiet little bay is situated on Kauai’s South Shore not far from Koloa. Known for its clear blue waters, golden sand and lush tropical surroundings Lawai Bay is part of the historic Allerton Garden, a beautifully landscaped botanical garden within the National Tropical Botanical Garden system. The gardens were once a retreat for Hawaiian royalty and feature beautifully designed landscapes, towering tropical trees, and hidden waterfalls. 

The bay’s calm waters make it a great location for snorkelling, with vibrant coral reefs and plentiful marine life, including tropical fish, sea turtles, and occasional sightings of rare Hawaiian monk seals. 

With its secluded feel and natural beauty, Lawai Bay is the perfect place to experience Kauai’s untouched coastline.
