Flamingo Beach
Located on the private barrier island of Renaissance Island, Flamingo Beach is known for its white sand, clear water, and of course, the famous pink flamingos that roam freely along the shore. The beach is part of the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort, and access is limited to resort guests although it is possible to get a day-pass.
The calm, shallow water makes it a great spot for swimming, and there are shaded loungers and overwater hammocks for relaxation. The flamingos are the main attraction, often wading through the water or standing near visitors, making for a great photo op. Since it’s a private island, the beach never gets busy, plus there is attentive service from the resort’s staff and a bar and restaurant nearby.
Flamingo Beach is just a short boat ride from Oranjestad, with water taxis running regularly from the resort. Whether you’re watching the flamingos up close, enjoying the warm Caribbean water, or sipping a cocktail by the shore, it’s a memorable beach experience in Aruba.
